Day 2 in 3 Day Quote Challenge!

Happy Monday! I want to thank Sue Love from  for nominating me for the 3 Day Quote Challenge! Whether it be a scripture or a worship song, Sue always has uplifting posts that inspire my soul. Be sure to check out her blog page! Today’s quote:

Patience is not simply the ability to wait – it’s how we behave while we’re waiting. Joyce Meyer

This phrase was used in the book, ‘Love is Patient’ by Lila Diller and is where I first read it. Although in this book it was used in context of staying pure before marriage, it can be applied in so many circumstances.

I’ve been guilty in the past of being anxious and even irritable while waiting for lab results, or something work related, and yes even unanswered prayers. However I am starting to understand that during the waiting period, my time and energy are best spent praying, and truly trusting in God. It’s easier said than done but, whenever I believe God is in control, I am stress-free and have a better attitude about situations even if they weren’t the desired results. So this quote is a great reminder of how I  should behave while I wait. No matter the circumstance, I’d rather have faith in God than spend my time worrying :).

Since I read this in author Lila’s book, I have decided to nominate her for the 3 Day Quote Challenge. Her blog has great Christian advice for women on all sorts of subjects, including but not limited to marriage. I always learn something refreshing from her, so please check her out here

I also want to Nominate.  Although she hasn’t posted recently on her blog, she actively motivates other bloggers on their posts with her supportive and encouraging words. You have been a blessing to me Regina Mary and I hope you don’t mind and are up for the challenge!💕

The rules of this challenge are as follows:

Thank the person who nominated you and provide a link to their blog.

For 3 days, provide a quote each day and why you like or chose that quote.

Nominate one or more bloggers each of the three days for the Challenge and then send them a comment letting them know they have been nominated.

Have fun and blessings to everyone who stopped by!
