Happy Wednesday!

We are half way through the week and I just wanted to randomly stop by and thank all my followers for your support and kind words throughout this year!

Today I reached 350 followers with over 8,000 views this year. When I started this past January, I was unsure of what I was doing and was afraid I’d make little progress. I have a message from February 16, where a new fellow blogger reached out to me a bit discouraged. I told him that I was still trying to figure out the website and only had 55 followers but, that blogging had been a great experience for me and I wish I had started sooner.

5 months and 300 people later, I can move around WordPress more efficiently and my feelings for my followers and fellow bloggers are even stronger. I couldn’t have done this without your encouragement,Β  and this network has been amazing! If you are new to blog world, just press forward. You will find the people with your same interests and form a bond. I certainly have formed bonds with people alike and with different interests. You learn something new everyday from somebody and in my case, I have grown as person :). Don’t give up! If you have any questions about blogging I will happily answer from my experiences :).

Anyhow, have a great day everyone and thanks for being awesome!! πŸ’•

  2. Yes I do, You got talent! Assuming you have a guardian overseeing your blog, just keep on doing what you are doing. You are friendly and your posts are very positive I love them. I like to follow everyone that follows me, but I always check their blog just to make sure I feel safe. So just be cautious, if something does not feel right it probably isn’t. I’d hate for someone to take advantage of your youth, so I wouldn’t tell too many your age;). You’re are young and brilliant and have the world ahead of you πŸ’•!

  4. Thank you, technically about 300 because in February I already had 55 follwers:=).
First of all I make sure to reciprocate, if anyone follows my blog I follow back and respond to comments and try to comment on their posts. I read comments on other people’s blogs, like them, follow them if I feel a connection and most of the time they follow back. So most of my followers are followers of other bloggers I’ve connected with. It seems to build a tighter network because we then see each other on different blogs, not just mine or theirs. Most of my followers are bloggers. Periodically I do prizes to draw facebook friends and other social media people on board:). Also the blog nominations are an awesome way to interact and meet new people. When a follower nominates let’s say 10 people, I click on their links and most of the time follow, and they reciprocate. It’s all about showing the same respect and interest you want for your own blog. People are really friendly here. About twice a month I go through my list of followers to make sure I’ve at least read a couple of their posts. This keeps you connected especially when timing is an issue to be logging on.

  6. πŸ¦‹ LOL! I’m 61. I don’t look like what I did 10 years ago. Seriously! I have been so sick I aged 30 years in those 10. This photo was taken last week by a friend. I used a lot of make up. πŸ˜‰ This was the best out of a dozen photos. I did’nt want to scare anyone.

πŸ¦‹ Thanks for saying so though.
